1:00am SleepyTime Tea Meditations

Mug of Tea
 
 
Brew the tea hot,  too hot to drink.
 
Hold the cup close to your lips.
Wrap your free hand around the rim of the cup,
   channelling the vapors towards your face.
 
Breath in deeply through your nose.
Savor the steaming herbal scents scouring your sinuses.
Hold that sensation for a moment.
 
Exhale slowly through your mouth.
Bathe in the warm humid fog of SleepyTime comfort
on your lips, on your cheeks, on your soul.
 
Repeat.
 
When the tea is cool enough,
Sip,
Calm your throat.
Settle your digestion.
Repeat
 
 
Then set your cup down and go to sleep.
Your morning coffee awaits you.
