Day 30 – Alto do Poio

28km out from Trabadelo, almost all uphill.  This little hamlet has very limited room and board options.
My Vodafone connection is only one bar.  The wifi signal is strong. Unfortunately, the associated internet access is almost non-existent.   That and my current fatigue means no images today.
The dining facilities here are primitive.  Chickens wander in and out the open front door.  So I order the soup of the day which seems to be potato cabbage in a chicken broth (hmm?). The bread is a heavy slice of a crusty white loaf.  This and a beer makes a filling meal.

I’m in the Galatia region now.  Seems like just crossing a line on the map but that would be understating the cultural variations in Spain.   The cafe owner where I bought my cafe con leche this morning corrected my pronunciation, chastising me by saying “You’re in Galatia now”.

Time to take my washing off the line and go get some sleep.
Buen Camino,
