All exercise is strenuous walk these days in a commitment to the “moderation in all things” philosophy. I want to be exercising outdoors in my 80’s and the best way is to avoid injury when I’m in my 50’s.
My immediate motivation is the Camino de Santiago in 2 years or so. That will require 10-15 mi/day, so I need to keep increasing my stamina.
Once upon a time, a kinder, gentler time, when lions laid down with sheep and the stars came out at night to light your path on your journey to wisdom, you could see a list of my latest tweets in this space. Unfortunately, a dark force has overcome our social society and threatens to disrupt the harmony of the universe. Maybe I'll start using my own blog more instead.
